Knokke and other Belgian seaside resorts are just around the corner, a short fifteen-minute drive from Sluis, and in less than 30 minutes you can drive from us to the cultural city of Bruges, Brussels in just over an hour, the (chalk) rocky coasts of Northern France in about 2 hours, and Paris in about 3 hours. A day trip to London—through the Channel Tunnel or by boat—is also possible from here. Furthermore, there are plenty of cycling opportunities on or under the dunes, for example. Take the bicycle/pedestrian ferry from Breskens to the other side for a visit to Vlissingen or Middelburg, enjoy the peace and quiet and the panoramic views of the polders, or cycle along the Zwindijk to the bird park near Knokke or to Knokke itself!
