De Vlier14 is a charming, detached holiday home with a sauna, located in Nieuwvliet-Bad/Zeeuws Vlaanderen. Situated directly behind the dunes, the house accommodates up to 6 people. It features 3 bedrooms with double beds, one of which is on the mezzanine. There is a spacious living room with a kitchen, and a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower and a bathtub. After a day at the beach or a visit to the sauna, you can rinse off in the outdoor shower. The house is detached and sits on a plot of over 450m². A green hedge provides privacy and shelter. The lawn with apple trees is a delightful place for children to play.

Our house is located in a green park with 25 cottages. It is an oasis of tranquility, yet with all amenities within reach. Adjacent is the larger recreational park ‘de Roompot,’ which offers an indoor swimming pool, a supermarket with fresh bread, a restaurant, and an indoor playground for the little ones. You can also rent (electric) bikes there.

Several beach pavilions are within walking distance and are a pleasant spot for coffee, drinks, or a meal in any season. In just a few minutes, you can walk to the clean, wide beach and the nature reserve ‘Verdronken Zwarte Polder.’ Cycling over the dike takes you to Cadzand, Groede, Sluis, Oostburg, or Breskens (where you can also take the ferry to Vlissingen/Walcheren). These towns have charming streets to stroll through, shop, relax on a terrace, or dine in one of the many restaurants. Oostburg (and Breskens) is perfect for grocery shopping. A visit to Belgian cities such as the historic and lively Bruges and the fashionable Knokke is also highly recommended.

Our house at De Vlier 14 is an ideal place to unwind, build sandcastles, search for shark teeth, and go on beach walks or bike rides. It’s also perfect for visiting charming towns and villages in Zeeland and Flanders.

Pets are not allowed.
No smoking.
Arrival and departure days are generally Saturdays for a week, or Friday/Monday for a weekend.
