Beautifully and centrally located in the quiet little village of Grijpskerke on the 'island" of Walcheren in Zeeland, the accommodation we have to offer is a new (constructed in 2012) luxury apartment.
Comfortably furnished and fully equipped, it is situated on the first floor of a detached house, accessed by a safe and modern staircase.
Grijpskerke itself lies in the middle of the "island" of Walcheren, within walking distance of the St. Laurense Weihoek meadow-land nuture reserve, and within cycling distance of the Mantelinge nature reserve.
From Grijpskerke cycle-paths enable you easily to make your way by bicycle to the pretty, historical town of Veere ( 4 miles) and to Middelburg ( 2 miles), The latter classed as the fifth most architecturally important town in the Netherlands. The Flushing Boulevard ( officially classified as enjoying more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in the Netherlands) is certainly worth a visit, and easily accessible by bicycle. A network of well-maintained cycle-paths round Grijpskerke and along the coast allow you to enjoy the local woods, sand-dunes, dikes, meadows and attractive countryside generally.
There are also, during the summer months, many local events to take part in and attractions to visit.
